The Nicaraguan Córdoba (NIO) is the official currency of Nicaragua. It was introduced in 1912 and is regulated by the Central Bank of Nicaragua. The currency is named after Francisco Hernández de Córdoba, the founder of Nicaragua.

The East Caribbean Dollar (XCD) is the official currency of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States. It is used by eight member countries. The currency is divided into 100 cents and is pegged to the US dollar at a fixed rate.
