The Nigerian Naira (NGN) is the official currency of Nigeria. It was introduced in 1973 to replace the Nigerian pound. The currency is regulated by the Central Bank of Nigeria. The term "Naira" is derived from the word "Nigeria", while "kobo", its subunit, means "penny" in Hausa language.

The Netherlands Antillean Guilder (ANG) was the currency of the former Netherlands Antilles until its dissolution in 2010. It is still used in Curaçao and Sint Maarten.
